Nigel Herriott - Chairman
Nigel HerriottNigel joined the board in 2010 after retiring from a multi-national IT company where he had worked in sales and marketing for over 30 years, most recently as a sales manager.

On joining the board Nigel was initially Sales Director with particular responsibility for circulation, advertising and relationships with sponsors and became Chairman in January 2012. Nigel lives and rings at Romsey in Hampshire and also rings with the ASCY in London.
Fred Bone
Fred BoneFred is the RWís IT Director, responsible for office systems and the website servers. He joined the Board in 2002 and was last re-elected in 2011. Fred took early retirement after a career in IT, specialising in bibliographic cataloguing and information retrieval systems. He now does voluntary work as an Adviser (and spare-time IT support!) with Citizens Advice Bureau.
Bill Hibbert
Bill has been a bell ringer for over 40 years. He has worked for many years for magazine and newspaper publishers and has considerable knowledge of publishing and IT systems, and website implementation.

Bill's primary interest in bell ringing is the sound and acoustics of bells, which he has been investigating for 15 years. He has recently been awarded a doctorate by the Open University for his research.

Chris Mew
Chris MewChris has been ringing for over 50 years, has served on the Central Council for 16 years, latterly on the Tower Stewardship Committee, and is now Vice President. His professional experience is in project management, planning and parliamentary matters. A past Master of the Surrey Association and President of the Coventry Diocesan Guild, Chris continues support at local level in Towers and Belfries and Child Protection issues.
Nigel Orchard
Nigel joined the board at the 2013 AGM. His career in the electricity supply industry caused him to live in several places round the country with business skills developed as Station Manager at three different large power stations, one of them in Portugal. He then ran his own one man consultancy business until 2007. He has been Deputy Tower Captain and Steeplekeeper at St Thomasís, Salisbury for the last 12 years, is a member of the ASCY and rings a few peals a year.
Colin Parker
Colin joined the board at the 2013 AGM. He is the organiser of the Ringing World National Youth Contest. He learnt to ring at the age of eleven in his local village in Hertfordshire, then played an active part in the running of the Southampton University Guild. He is also a regular tutor on the Bradfield Ringing Course.

Colin is an actuary for a multi-national insurance company leading their global, internet based, direct to consumer, actuarial function targeting a younger demographic via social media and other internet channels, and his professional skills in this area are an asset to the board.

Claire Roulstone (Company Secretary)
Claire joined the board at the 2013 AGM and succeeded Ian Oram as Company Secretary in July. She prepares the agenda for board meetings, takes the minutes and is responsible for the Annual Returns to the Charity Commission and Companies House.

Claire is a member of the St Paulís Cathedral Guild of Ringers and a member of the local band at the five-bell tower Silchester in Hampshire. A prolific peal ringer, she served the Oxford Diocesan Guild as Peal Secretary for eleven years. She spent twenty five years working as a civilian specialist for the Metropolitan Police dealing with various aspects of Criminal Justice and latterly the investigation of complaints made by members of the public. She brings both her administrative skills and her perspective as a practical ringer to the board.

Adrian Udal
Adrian UdalAdrian joined the board at the 2010 AGM and is Production Director. He spent most of his professional career working in Television as an Editor for a national broadcaster. In 2011 he worked on the paperís Centenary celebrations in London and was†the first organiser of the Ringing World National Youth Contest.

Adrian is Tower Secretary at St Giles-in-the-Fields and a member of the St Margaretís, Westminster & St James Garlickhythe bands. His interests include making recordings of ringing.

Richard Wallis
Richard WallisRichard joined the board in May 2011 and was appointed Finance Director shortly thereafter. At the time of his appointment Richard had just celebrated 25 years of ringing and 15 years as a member of the Central Council of Church Bell Ringers. He was Treasurer of the CC Publications Committee and then went on to become one of the Council's Independent Examiners (until 2012).

Richard has always rung at Godstone and has been very involved in the Surrey Association - as its General Secretary for 18 years (ongoing) and as the holder of several District posts before and during that time. After training in private practice, Richard has held various finance jobs in the National Health Service - he is currently employed by a mental health Foundation Trust.
